8. Payment

10. Access to the property
You must ensure that we have safe and reasonable access to the property and the relevant electrical systems. You are responsible for:- Ensuring someone authorised is present

- Providing permission from the property owner, landlord or responsible person where required
11. Your responsibilities

- Not interfere with electrical systems while work is being carried out
- Pay all agreed charges when due
12. Parts and materials
Where parts or materials are required, we may supply them as part of the service. Parts and materials remain our property until they have been paid for in full. Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain parts. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects beyond any rights you have under applicable law.13. Guarantees and workmanship
We aim to carry out all work with reasonable care and skill. Where we provide a workmanship guarantee, it applies only to the specific work carried out by us and for the period stated at the time of service. Any guarantee may not apply where:- The fault is caused by misuse, negligence or accidental damage
- Further work is carried out by another person
- The electrical system is old, unsafe or non-compliant
- The issue is caused by parts or systems not supplied or installed by us
- The customer ignores advice or safety recommendations
- The problem is caused by circumstances outside our control
14. Safety and compliance
Electrical work can be dangerous and should only be carried out by competent persons. We reserve the right to refuse work where we believe it would be unsafe, unlawful or unsuitable. If we identify an unsafe electrical condition, we may advise you to stop using part or all of the electrical installation until repairs are completed. You are responsible for deciding whether to proceed with recommended remedial work, unless immediate action is required by law or safety obligations.15. Limitations of liability
We are responsible for losses you suffer where they are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms & Conditions or our negligence. We are not responsible for:- Losses that were not foreseeable
- Delays caused by events outside our control
- Losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you
- Pre-existing faults or defects
- Damage caused by unsafe, faulty or non-compliant existing installations
- Loss of profit, business interruption or commercial losses, where you are a business customer
16. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations where caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:- Severe weather
- Traffic disruption
- Accidents
- Illness or engineer unavailability
- Power outages
- Supply chain delays
- Acts of government or regulatory restrictions
